Not to be mean, or anything, but on my private server, i need people who aren't TOO uptight about things. On the server, i need people who let loose, and have fun, rather than just try to get through it as quick as possible. So I'm just wondering, if you can let loose, and have tons of fun on the server. If not, then i guess this server isnt for you. Sorry. (Im not trying to be mean T_T Just telling you the facts T_T)

ChocolateJuiceHi. I have never made a server before, but I want to so me and my friends can play on it.
Could someone type a very detailed, but easy to understand guide on how to create and run a server? I also don't know about port forwarding. Also, DON'T PASTE THE MINECRAFT WIKI'S GUIDE!!! It did not help much. Please leave a full tutorial so i can set up and run a server so my friends can join. Also, I am running Windows 7 on a ProBook 4530s. Thanks!
trolldruel0130I need a server because the 10 that I hav ... HAD, started crashing so I said on every server that I needed to turn off the servers for a long time. my computer still sucks though and I was wondering if anyone would be nice enough to lend an empty server, I wont call myself the owner(of course) but head admin(or anything else) and I would greatly appreciate it if it was a superflat world.

Opie_WinstonI have looked at several monster grinders and decided to attempt one of my own. I built, what is by my standards, a massive structure. It is something like 51x51x?. I've noticed much larger grinders and didn't think the size would be a problem but after completion I noticed I can't get the monsters to spawn inside unless I'm near the sub-cells at the top of my drop tube (roughly 18-20 blocks). How come I can't get the monsters to spawn while at the collection point and other grinders, much larger, can?My guess would be you have some lighting problems. Mobs only spawn in a certain level of darkness.
