You do realize that Minecraft is comprised of 1m by 1m blocks, don't you? You physically can't have a small stature of an organic/fluid thing (plant, animal, human, tablecloth, bunyip, etc.).
Well, at least not have it looking realistic in the least...

I am obsidian. Overpowered, but from that I am extremely durable and steadfast, unbreakable in my resolve. And, I can obsidian is used to open doorways to new worlds, just as I try to do.

You know, I may actually be able to help you. I have had some previous experience in building an apocalyptic map.

I find your post quite negative, and rather vague. You don't specify what work the builders are doing, or where, or when. You offer no insight into the job at all.
