It's nice, I like it, but I'm not sure it's really NEEDED, just adds one more java application to load up to the site, and the site already runs slowly pretty often at peak times.

As far as the program, I like it a lot, though if you could add the ability to maybe rightclick and hold on a part to move it, like in SkinViewer Extended, then it'd be really great imo.

I've liked everything notch has done. I've been around since the game turned Alpha, and half the fun has been to watch the game get developed into what it is now. I remember being SOOOOO excited when I heard he was adding Hell to minecraft, and amused that he changed it to Nether to be less offensive.

I'm excited to see what he does with "The End" realm. As it stands now, it reminds me of Dwarf Fortress's Hell, lots of nasty mobs, deadly flying mobs, and absolutely NOTHING of value to be found. The only reason to go there is to see just how long you can survive. I would like to see "The End" have a way to escape back to the normal world aside from death, perhaps add a block that is only found on the underside of the floating island in the realm, so it's really hard to get, and you can make a portal back to the normal world with those blocks.

I would like to see something for the Indev/Infdev/Alpha/Beta buyers out there. Maybe some option on your account to pick what cape to display.

Have unique capes for the following:
    -purchased during indev
    -purchased during infdev
    -purchased during Alpha (me)
    -purchased during Beta
    -purchased through store

and have unique designs on each one, I think that'd be cool. I'm not at all opposed to purchasable capes, but give the early supporters something special as a thank you.

this sort of thing happens ALOT. I've found my texture packs and skins on several other sites with others taking credit for them. I've gotten most of them removed, and even got $200 in damages against a guy hosting my zelda texpak through adfly and making money off of it.

I still go to the Nether often. I find great use for netherrack's fiery properties, and I use glowstone all the time.

Though I'll agree, it's boring as shit in the Nether. Aether Mod spruces it up a little, always going to the Nether to at least gather glowstone to make my Aether portals at various bases.

Bah, oh well. Guess I'll just spawn myself some netherrack or something.

If anyone happens to find a fix though, please let me know, I prefer gathering my materials and not spawning them.lol

How would 1.8 hurt texture pack makers in any way at all? It's just another copy-paste session to get the new stuff into our texture packs, then changing the look. I've already updated all 3 of my texpaks with the terrain.png, items.png, icons.png, and enderman.png files that @Jeb_ and @Notch have released so far. No update will ever hurt Texture Pack makers unless Notch were to do something stupid like making every block/item texture it's own file (Aether Mod did this, it's annoying.lol)

Now yes, it will hurt SOME Mod Makers probably, but honestly it won't take more than a week or so probably for all the major SMP mods to get updated. My main concern is the SSP Mods, because I use a few of them and want them working ASAP when 1.8 hits, I love my current world.lol

I'm hoping that skill points reset to zero when you die, and you get benefits the more you build up, giving you incentive to be careful and survive.

    Possible benefits:
    -faster movement
    -damage resistance
    -more damage dealt
    -higher critical hit chance
-extra resources randomly when mining(one diamond ore might pop 2 diamonds occassionally once you're past a certain # of skill points, that sort of thing)

Also, if it would have a drawback for having alot of skill points, that would be nice. Like higher Mob spawning chances on the nasty stuff (spider jockeys and endermen) and mobs being able to spawn in lighter areas. The longer you survive, the better the benefits, but the world also gets more dangerous.

But that's just my idea on the subject.

my advice, don't worry about the XP, I never did. If your stuff is good you'll get the XP. You can advertise all you want. but if your stuff is no good, it won't help.

    Quality is everything.

I first downloaded it at Alpha 1.0.2 (I've kept a backup of every download/update.lol)

I was on my Star Wars RP Guild's forums and one of our leaders linked a video of minecraft, I watched the video, went "OMFG IT'S COMPUTER LEGOS WITH ZOMBIES AND CRAFTING!" went and downloaded it, played for 5 minutes in SSP, then bought it.
