Thanks for the comments everyone! I’m building in flat at the mo… it’s working out pretty well.. I love the neatness of it! Basically building mansions and stables so won’t need to build down.
Yeah that’s a good idea, I can use world edit to add some variation… probably quicker then having to flatten out massive areas…. Plus I’m not very good at world edit xp
Plan to build several things… but basically a huge huge town with mansions, stables etc so I guess there would be some landscape visible in the background
It does.. and I know where the problem is now… but I still don’t know how to resolve it. Basically when I unzip the file in file manager on the server I get a pop up to say file successfully unzipped… however it does not appear as a folder. So of course when I try to upload the world in game it won’t work.
I’ve got the multiverse plug in. So the file is uploading to my server and is showing under file manager.. but when I type the import command in game it tells me that the dat file is missing? I don’t know what file this is or how I add it lol
Yeah I did, followed it exactly and it isn’t doing what the YouTube man’s does lol… I have commented on his vid to ask but I’m the meantime I wondered if anyone here had any ideas?
I guess it might be good to explore at some point but I only wanted to find some shroom lights lol I don’t think I’ll find them in the soul sand valley… I can’t go more then 5 seconds before a ghast kills me (can’t see the things cos it’s so misty!) Will maybe explore my map and try and find another portal to try, hopefully it will take me somewhere else!
That's weird, try this one... I think this one works (you might have to copy and paste it into your browser though) I didn't have f3 screen up no :-(
eta: I just tried the process again and this time made a note of co-ords: Entered portal in Overworld at 243/65/-303 Spawned into Nether at 23/53/-27 Went straight back through portal and respawned back into Overworld at 279/70/-167
Thanks I’ll try this. Actually managed to get my settings to a point on twitch studio where it wasn’t picking up background noise… but now I’ve switched to OBS and back to square one.. boo
