OK, now that im done criticizing hers my plan
I would get my hatchet i have in my bacement and possibly my dads old machete from the garage as my melee weapons.
Me and my dad love to shoot so i could use his small rifle/pistol and keep a bit of ammo on my at all times. I'm am decent at aiming so that should help preserver ammo.
I would get my backpack with a bit of ammo and get lots of canned food and water. and i would get out of the populated area i live in as fast as possible. I would trek to the country where it isn't as populated and set up base at an abandoned home or an empty shack or some type of structure. I would set up a wall to prevent any zombies there may be. I would not allow any other survivors in unless extremely wounded or women and children,
(if some lone guy shows up, i wouldn't let him in in fear of being murdered for my supplies)
I would make a small garden for fresh food to eat and when necessary i would scout the area for zombies/survivors. I would start a small community eventually and have a somewhat town for survivors and slowly rebuild the human population to the point where all zombies die, or we get rid of them all.
As said before most of the people here don't understand half of what it means to be a survivor. You need wits, skills, and endurance. None of this get a gun and shoot everything. No, I'm sorry but if you like lived in your house with windows barricaded, zombies would get you sooner or later and you would be killed.
