This jam is a palette battle that has 5 main palettes. You can choose any palette of your choice! With that done, let's introduce the rules:

1. You can only use colors from one palette. Using colors from another palette (except for jasmine) or not using the palette will get you disqualified.
2. When you go onto coolors.com, you can check different shades and use them! The judges will allow this!
3. The skin/color tone will have to though be a shade of one of the five colors
4. The eyes, hair, clothing, jewelry, etc. will also have to be a shade of the five colors
5. No copying existing skins. This is a sure-fire way to not only be disqualified but also reported for plagiarism
6. No racism, homophobia, or anything against site rules
7. When finished with the skin, please tell us what palette you used.
8. When finished, give the color hex of every single color you used. That way, we can look at the color palette you used and confirm that you used it!

Note to judges: If you're being capitalist and biased, I won't hesitate to pull in disciplinary actions in the group.

Ranked by Judges - Only members of the jam assigned with judging permission can vote.
Entries can't be updated during the judge phase.
28 day entry period.
4 day review phase after the entry period.
25% of entries ranked as finalists.
5 day voting phase on finalists after the review period.

1. Dedication and Passion
   This is to see if we think that you really put in some thought into this (wait that's me :P )
   Rated 1 to 5
2. Creativity
   This is to see how creative you were with one of the limited palettes you had
   Rated 1 to 10
3. Descriptive
   Though I like a good skin, develop either a backstory or some things that gave you the idea of making it
   Rated 1 to 5
4. Overall
   With everything else, the judges will decide if they saw this skin would they themselves wear it and what they like about it.
   Rated 1 to 10
5. Beauty and uniqueness
   This is based on how *ahem* majestic it is and how your skin is different from others
   Rated 1 to 5

  Hello !
  This Jam seems very interesting, but I was wondering something : are we allowed to play with layer mixing options ? For context I make my skins in Photofiltre, which has layer settings like "add", "multiply" and a few other basics. I use these options to shade my skins, but they change how colors look, so are they allowed in this Jam ?

  Why does the participant trophy look cooler than the others??

  Ok, white and black are def allowed. Participant trophies are like that so whoever gets them can feel better not being a finalist or getting first place.

  for those confused right now, I would check out the "Cholan Palette Battle Tutorial" Blog! That will give you the information to shade, how to use the colors wisely, etc.
