Happy Blocktober! 👻
This month we're celebrating with the first official seasonal jam! It's been a minute since our last but we're extra excited for this to launch! We've been busy developing the new jam system which the community will be able to host in the near future. Let's see it in action!

You can enter up to FIVE Seasonally-themed creations. Whether your inspired by general fall festivities or one of the greatest holidays on the planet, Halloweeeeen! The idea is to see the community coming together to amp up everyone's seasonal vibes. Time tends to fly by with every passing season blending with the next. It's nice to make them memorable.

This is not a contest. There's no competition, judges, scores or leader-boards. It's an all-inclusive jam where anybody can join in on the fun of celebrating the fall season together.

Submitting your entries is easy! Be sure that everybody understands how your creation fits the theme of the event. Upload your creation to one of the following categories: Projects, (Mob) Skins, Data Packs, Texture Packs or Blogs come back to this jam and hit ENTER!

To add to the event experience, we encourage you to diamond, favorite and comment on your favorite entries this month! Maybe share your favorites in a wall-post or gather them into a collection! Everyone appreciates receiving positive responses to their creations.

You have plenty of time to work on your creations for this jam.

🏠 If you enter a project, it would be great if you could share a world save or schematic too, so that other players can enjoy it in Minecraft! You can create any kind of project. That includes land, air, sea, space and time structures, adventure maps, redstone contraptions, organics, terraforms and pixel art. Be sure to include some good visuals (screenshots) and a clear description with your project to maximize the experience.

👩‍🦰 If you enter a skin, make it fun to use in-game! That way, other players can have fun dressing up Halloween-style thanks to your creation. Start from scratch rather than using any default or common base textures. There are several Minecraft skin editing programs available, but we recommend PMCSkin3D! If you need some help getting started with skins, PMC member Beanie made this excellent video tutorial on the basics of Minecraft skin editing!

🦇 If you enter a mob skin, keep in mind to start from scratch! You can use PMCSkin3D to create your own bats, phantoms, cats, zombies, skeletons and all other mobs, to make them spookier than ever before!

📚 If you enter a blog you naturally have more options than we can give advice on. The blog section allows for all kinds of writing, including stories, poems, articles and interviews. Write to impress and shuffle in some proper grammar whenever possible. Be aware that Planet Minecraft is a family friendly site! So make sure your Halloween horror stories won't cause too many nightmares!

🎁 If you enter a data pack who knows what you'll add into the game to make Minecraft more spooky and ghoulish to explore this October! We're excited to see and try what you come up with.

🎨 If you enter artwork or a video, we love your unharnessed creativity and you can use the blog section to share it! We don't require featured images for blogs but a good one can raise an eyebrow or two resulting in more views so it's a recommendation. PMC member Chiaroscuro wrote a great tutorial on how to create featured images which will help you to create your own.

Up to FIVE entries per participant!

• The standard rules of Planet Minecraft apply to any submission.
• You are expected to enter new work. This means you cannot enter any creation that was previously uploaded to Planet Minecraft.
• You are allowed to enter work that was created for another unofficial community event.
• Collaborations and teamwork are allowed for this event.
• Submissions that do not follow the Seasonal theme will be disqualified. It's a very open theme, so it shouldn't be hard to join.

• If you create an entry which doesn't immediately seem Seasonally-themed, please make sure to explain the relevance to the theme in your submission's description.
• You can create a skin, project, data pack or blog-post, you do not have to choose a single category.
• You have the rest of the month, so take your time and have fun!

Basic Summary

Unranked Jam accepted up to 5 Maps, Skins, Mob Skins, Texture Packs, Data Packs and Blogs from participants.
Accepts texture pack resolution of 16x, 32x and 64x.
Accepts standard and 2x HD resolution skins.
Accepts all mob models excluding objects.
