Beta testers for an upcoming realistic survival modpack
I have been making this modpack, Might and Mine, for a good few months and have basically completed the modpack itself, though I would love to hear constructive criticism, things to improve, and so on about it.
So I was wondering if anyone would like to test it out, and any beta testers will have an option to have a statue, legend, or character relating to them in the map if they wish.

i just got an alienware nvidia RTX 3070 and i still cant run the modpack
What do you mean? I ran this modpack even on my old pc with a gt 730 just fine, and easily get hundreds of fps, what graphic settings did you use? Ofc if you use the highest graphic settings in mc, or have too many programs in the background, you would suffer from low fps, and how much ram did you allocate to the modpack? Since you have to allocate at least 8gb (i recommend 12gb if possible)

Absolutely not sorry, since it's meant to be realistic, and well, humans don't have night vision (and your character is a human ofc)

Btw the modpack on technic didn't work it just sent me to a weird world that wasnt normal
The added world called "surv1" is a wip adventure map for this modpack. But you can start a new world and the modpack will work perfectly fine too

Yea download it from it's techniclauncher page, or I can give you a direct download link if you like/don't use technic
I would probably use shaders, but it is easy to access the mod from the launcher so I don't need the direct link.
Oh okay cool, and I recommend using Chocopic High performance shaders as it doesn't affect the fps much and also looks the best for my modpack's theme (And it is included in the modpack download from technic)
Yeah ok even though nostalgia shaders are my favourite, I'll try the chocopapic shades

Oh okay and I think most shaders will look fine (as long as its dark and not overly bright/cartoony) And the modpack should run around 100-200fps on the optimized settings (already provided the options.txt in the modpack) on a old pc, and have you joined the modpack discord?

Oh okay awesome and my modpack requires at least 8gb, but I recommend 10gb for the best performance, and let me know how it goes.

I have it uploaded on dropbox (just copypaste the zip's contents into your .minecraft folder and click yes if it asks to replace files) If you want, and technic launcher is by far the best one, compared to curseforge (those are the only 2 modpack launchers that im aware of)
