"Hmmm... what is this?
A contest themed around datapacks? Thats impossible.... we haven't had one in 7 MONTHS!" <- Probably you right now

Well... here i present to you... *drumroll*
The ""Above the clouds" datapacking contest!

This content (as you probably already guessed by the theme) is themed all around everyhing that is above (or in) the clouds, as long as your entry fits that theme, everything from UFOs to mutated birds to... flying sheep?
Let your creativity flow!

DEADLINE: 5/7/22

Rules:
1. Only submit new creations! (Updates to already existing datapacks are dissalowed, same goes for datapacks which you started working on before the creation of this thread (3/30/22))
2. Datapacks submited after the end of the deadline will be ignored! (If the majority of people that want to participate needs more time (one week at max) the deadline will be extended)
3. Don't copy others work! (Getting inspired is allowed but simply copying the idea or even the code of others is dissalowed)
4. Don't be afraid to enter even if you are new to datapacks :)
5. Collaborations are allowed
6. The rules may change any time till the deadline (i don't think they will tho)
7. SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP (This is just a joke, you don't have to include sheep in your datapack)

Judging:
All judging will be made by me (Flyrr) and my friend Mezzomax08.
It will be judged after (in no particular order):
- Creativity
- Bugs/Glitches
- Balacedness
- Enjoyability
^At max 10 points will be given for each point on the list above^

Extra points:
When the datapack requires an recourcepack: How good do the textures look? Does it require optifine for mob textures? (yes = no extra points, no = extra points) Are the textures animated?
When the datapack doesn't require an recourcepack: How much better would the datapack be with an recourcepack? (much better = no/not many extra points, it wouldn't change it at all = full extra points)

Prizes:
1. Place: A mention on my profile page, the Contest Winner Role in my discord server and my minecraft server as well as a custom throphy to show off on your profile
2 and 3. Place: A mention on my profile page, the Contest Finalist Role in my discord server and my minecraft server as well as a custom throphy to show off on your profile
All Participants: A custom participant throphy to show off on your profile

How do i enter the contest
Put "abovetheclouds" in the tags of your datapack and/or leave a link to it in the comment section of this thread :)
