You should try making cool looking weapons that do cool effects and also some Armor aswell, I think it would be a fun experience and you should make phases to get legendary stuff.
I was thinking this would be a really cool feature in a factions or rp server. Not so much as something that adds on to the existing gameplay, but would completely change it. When someone kills another player, they don't respawn immediately. Along with their items, they drop something with their name on it such as a egg, soul, pokeball, or maybe a miniature them. Anyone can pick up this item, and use it to spawn the victim within a certain timeframe. If the "egg" isn't used within that timeframe, the player respawns normally (to prevent people from hiding it or destroying it). The intended purpose of the mod would be to let people capture their enemies, and put them in prison cells, a far away land, etc. If anyone knows a mod similar to this, please let me know!
Maybe a village replacer where each kind of village gets its own theme. Like the savanna village type could be one big structure made of the usual savanna village stuff and within there are rooms for villagers like there are houses for them, replace the farm with a greenhouse room or maybe the center of the building could be the farm.
There could be a castle one for a taiga village, one that's made of teepees for a plains village, I don't remember all the village types but you get the idea. Nothing too crazy either just a structure replacement really!

I don't know a single thing about minecraft modding lawl, no clue as to what creator can even do

A mod that randomly swaps all textures within the game with each new seed.
This could be very challenging, but one might want to impose some restrictions (e.g. limit the swaps to being of similar class textures) if the goal was long term play.
That is a good idea. Maybe there could be various different configurations if it is not too difficult or requiring too much technical skill.
I am only very new to modding so this would be a challenge for me personally. I imagine someone could get very intricate with the details of the randomness.

you know when people make those '5 best mods' videos, well you could do '5 best mods' MOD, and people can download your 1 mod to get a glimpse of what the other mods are like (but obviously only having 1 or 2 items/blocks/armour etc in it, & with permission from the mod authors ofc)
