On April 8th, 2024 (yesterday as of me posting this), Nintendo shut down the Nintendo Network for the Wii U and 3DS, ending all online multiplayer for every game, including Minecraft: Wii U Edition (2015-2024).
I've played it a bit in the past, however I never got to play online multiplayer, and so I never got to experience the chaotic (and low quality) voice chat in the heat of a Battle Mini Game match.
But, if you have any memorable experiences playing multiplayer on Wii U Edition that you want to share, that's what I made this thread for. Go ahead and share them. I'll read every comment.

While I never played the Wii u edition, I had an ancient ps3 I played minecraft on
so many memories and chaotic voice chat XD

Honestly that's just sad
Sad that all of ninetendo's online games came to an end due to the nintendo network close on the Wii U: MarioKart, Splatoon, Minecraft, Smash Bros., etc. RIP WII U games 2012 - 2024
I made some great pals over at Miiverse and we did Voice Chat when I play in their many worlds exploring about. I also had 700+ followers at Miiverse thanks to Minecraft Wii U
Aw man, the Wii U is what got me into Minecraft ever since the Mario Mash-Up drew me interest into the game. Who would of knew I would be playing Minecraft every day.
