Request: User Recommendation
The User Recommendation Feature would be something I think would benefit PMC.
What it is:
It would be something that shows up on a User's profile. It is a rating based on the users general kindness, approachability, helpfulness, usefulness, and overall good quality. This sounds similar to the Diamond system, however, each PMC user, will be given ONLY FIVE recommendation points that they can give to players who they think is an upstanding member of the community, so this way, people will be more likely to think carefully about who they give one of their recommendation points to.
Note: A user can only give another user ONE recommendation point. For example, imagine I wish to give one recommendation point to (USER), I can only give him/her ONE of my total points. Recommendation points can be withdrawn, and you will receive your recommendation point back, to give to another user.
To avoid people creating dummy accounts to give themselves recommendation points, I think that users should only be given Points to spend after they reach level three.
The point of the recommendation system is that, unlike the XP/Level system, if a user is highly recommended, it shows that they are a a valued member of the PMC community who is trustworthy, produces extremely high quality content, or just shows that they're a good person.
What it will look like:
It will a recommendation rating that appears above a player's name on their profile with different levels of recommendation, with a system like this:
Neutral = No recommendation points. Everyone starts like this.
Okay = 1-4points
Average = 5 - 10 points
Above Average = 11-25points
Very Good = 26-49
Outstanding = 50-85

...
ETC.
I think this will be a good feature because it may help Users to be friendlier, produce high quality submissions, generally have a better attitude, and encourage interaction within the community.
Highly recommended users will be trusted, looked up to and these are the people who will help develop a positive community through example and being a role model.

one thing to note there also should be just one bad rank maybe like troll or something that might help to but good idea

Well said. Yeah, If it happens, it won't happen any time soon. The site is being worked on a lot, and a lot of it is on things you wouldn't really notice, so Cyprezz won't have time for something like this, which is very resource-heavy and undoubtedly time-consuming. It was a nice idea, but I think I need to be more realistic in my aims, haha.

The only problem I can forsee is, like the level system, people can be judged negatively or unfairly treated due to the lack or surplus amount of RC points. It'd almst create two different "levels". One for the high-ups, and a "level" for everyone else.
Reading above, I don't think EXP should be given for RC points.
Getting a point should be able to motivate you onwards to try and earn more, I think it would be better seperate from the EXP system.

That's a great idea! People would probably be able to adapt to the system,making them friendlier,in order to receive RC points (a short form has been made!). I think this would help underrated/unnoticed contributors,for a RC point would be worth more than subs or comments,diamonds and favs.
Exactly. I think the whole concept of having a very limited number of RC points to spend will mean that only the people who truly deserve recognition will get them.
