So my pal rubur (check them out!) said that my love of Nightcore is a "phase". I'm not quite sure if this is true though because I seem to be liking it very much and I don't think I'm going to stop listening to it anytime soon. I mean why would I? It's wonderful to me. (That's half of my brain) But then again I used to hate it like heck thinking it was terrible (other half of my brain). Now I really love it. I don't know. Opinions? Here's a little taste of it here

My music tastes are in phases, honestly. Sometimes I like this, sometimes that, some things stay the same for a long time. Your friend probably can't guess which your taste in Nightcore falls into, and it doesn't matter. Enjoy it until you don't. Personally I haven't gotten into it much.
Nightcore is an amazing genre, especially to those who enjoy EDM, Techno and other similar genres.

Honestly, I really don’t mind it, but I’m more into slowed-down versions of songs. I mean, I used to like it but I gave up on it.

I feel like Nightcore is made to appetize the usually slower emotional music to more upbeat techno listeners. Sometimes I find nightcore in my recommended and if I like the song, I usually go to the original halfway through. I like the meaningful originals that most nightcore is based on.

I did listen to some Nightcore Music. I like the beats but it’s too energetic that makes me drain my energy, so it’s a bit in between of ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ in my opinion.

I often times dislike nightcore, especially since it mostly is edits of songs that already exist. I am not saying that that is all it is, but the problem is, that the majority of the nightcore scene is just songs that are sped up.
If a nightcore song is a well done edit, or an original piece, i can enjoy it, but i don't like the feeling of supporting a community that condones plagiarism in large parts.

That's just your opinion. Glad you shared but not all nightcore songs are "plagiarism" tho. Most are just other songs "recreated". Ya know what I mean?
Totally, that is why i specifically said that i knew, that not all nightcore is is plagiarism. The thing is, that i find it hard to enjoy a song, if i can't be sure whether or not it is actually created by the person who posted it. I do enjoy the sound of some nightcore songs, but there is just such a massive problem with plagiarism in that community, that i just stay away from it altogether.
Then again i don't judge anyone for listening to it and i even have some nightcore in my playlist, that was recommended to me. but having to double check every song in a playlist to me just kills all the fun in discovering new artists.

XD That's your opinion. I think some nightcore songs are that way. The ones I listen to aren't that way. :P

i really dislike how high pitched it gets but it's meh for me
Some songs are higher pitched then others. I like the ones in the middle.
I'll have you know that I used to listen to nightcore all the time for years and it's not that I don't like it, it's just that I stopped listening to it, therefore listing it in my book as a "phase."
