I've always seen such cool HD bedrock skins and have always wanted them in Java. Tell me what you guys think!

I never really liked HD skins tbh.
technically it's possible with resourcepacks, i think you can replace the steve or alex skin with a higher resolution

The reason why Mojang hasn't added HD skins to Java is because of Microsoft. They won't let them probably because they want to make Bedrock Edition more different. Why do they want to make it different? So that there's better chances of the consumer paying money for both Java and Bedrock, which in return, makes Microsoft more money. (Heh, sorry if that sounded a bit stern, I'm just stating my thoughts.)
It didn't really sound stern but I agree. Most likely it is because of microsoft. I've just been fuming over the fact that there are so many awesome HD skins that aren't accesible to java.
Yeah, it's a shame they won't add that in. The same goes for the Bedrock exclusive 3D skin maker. Java can't have that for the same reason as HD skins.
Wait bedrock has 3d skins?
Yeah, they have a lot of selected options for you to choose from. It's not 100% custom because Mojang selected them, but there's hundreds of pieces to choose from, that it seems custom made.
