Don't use a headset for singing. Get an actual microphone. I don't know of any actual ones but I hear there's a good one called snowball or something.

its 10$(canadian) over budget but its a good mic for recording vocals and podcasts etc

I've used a "Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset" for a while and I've been fine with it. It's usually priced around 40$ (american). I don't know if it's the best thing for singing but you can see if it fits your standards.
