Is Classic Gone??
A few years ago I played Minecraft Classic before I bought the game. And just for the fun of it I wanted to play it today, but couldn't find it on the website. Anyone know if they took it down or what? Thanks for any help.

Doesn't work for me. Just go to https://minecraft.net/classic.
You can always go into the launcher and play classic, they have several classic versions of the game in the launcher

Thanks! The minecraft.net/classic doesn't work. But the launcher does!
^ This. In the options for your user profile in the launcher you can choose what version to play--from the old beta versions to the latest snapshots.
Minecraft Classic is a several years old version of Minecraft and is no longer supported, nor is it being worked on.
I knew that, but I just wanted to play it for the fun of it, since I've played the updated minecraft for three years since I've last played classic. But thanks anyway.
