Based off the Mob vote, I think I know what 1.20 will be.
If you take a look at the three mobs, Each one seems very different. The Sniffer is an ancient dinosaur, the Rascal a hide and seek gremlin, and the tuff golem a glorified Item frame.
Each one seems pretty unrelated, But based off of the mobs, I think that the 1.20 update will be:
THE ARCHEOLOGY UPDATE.
Why? because:
First, the Sniffer is an ancient mob that has strong relations to other ancient things. Within archaeology, you could maybe even find the seeds
Second, the Rascal is a unique mod that travels about finding unique items, Such as the items you could find in Archaology, which they could give you as a prize.
Third, the Tuff golem is a mob simply for displaying Items, which is pretty useless, unless you have alot of items to display, like the archaology update promised to give.
Finally, in the original caves and cliffs update showcase, Archaology had some pretty significant gameplay, and it was said that the next update showcased at this years MCLive would be more finished and with less concepts.
There is my argument for archaology being 1.20, or at least being a major part of it.

I recognize this article is just talking about 1.20 and not necessarily about the Mob Vote, so this may sound a little off topic. But there's some comments saying "If sniffer doesn't win, we might not have a mob that matches the update theme!" MY GOSH WHO CARES?? This could be and End Update or another biome update for all we know. This is like the whole explanation where you shouldn't believe that just because we eat a lot of ice cream, more people end up dying on the beaches.

Everyone can have an opinion, If you don't like the sniffer, don't vote for the sniffer. I doubt anyone would be convinced to vote for something by you being rude to them.

It only moves randomly if it doesn't have an item in hand and there's a dropped item to be picked up. Furthermore, it'll only stand and freeze where you originally spawned it, so you DO have control over it.
