Not entirely sure if this is meant to happen...
What you are looking at is not a random pillar I made, it was here upon generation of the world in 21w41a. seed is 8647741405268709871 you should be able to see it from where you spawn in. sorry if this is in the wrong section btw

How many blocks high is the tower? Also did you check if there's a dripstone cave under it?
I don't remember how tall it is. I think it's around 14 blocks but I could be wrong. And there is in fact a dripstone cave under it.
In the dripstone cave is it wide? What I mean is the tower connected to other pieces of dripstone like in a cluster? Because Minecraft has these things called dripstone clusters which is basically a pillar that goes from the bottom of the cave to the top. If it is a dripstone cluster then it its a terrain generation height glitch.
I've seen plenty of glitches related to dripstone but I'm not exactly sure what's causing this one.
