There's a mod called Forge. It's quite useful :p
Well, Forge is a modloader.. It doesn't do anything much, alone.. you have to put other mods in with it.

Turret mod! quite sure! but it is outdated about 1.2 i think havnt check it- installing mods is to difficult now i just got TMI.

Industrial Craft 2, Thermal Expansion, Buildcraft, Morph, Project Red, Tinker's Construct, I can't remember what it's called, but it lets you take certain traits from animals and apply them to yourself, Biomes O' Plenty, and Natura.
