Dungeons and custom mobs search up the BasicRPG plugin for custom mobs.

Factions / Economy plugins (iConomy, TimeisMoney, etc) / PvP Arena's / MobArena (Plugin) / CTF Arena (Plugin) / Shops (Plugins, like ChestShop)

add different rases(did i spell that rigt? ) of humans and then you can have a different spawntown for each rase and they could decide to live in piece with a different rase but also to become rivals!

White list the server

Make the application like an application for you character (AKA: Class, Name, Age)

You need a non-RP chat.

Definitely a leveling system, along with classes.

A detailed story line or some "Lore", you know to set the mood or pace for the server.

Here are some great things to have:

In my opinion, the thing that make an RPG server good is not only the effort they put into buildings, but also into the land. Terraforming the land would look great, and you can make it however you want :3

A nice map, ideally terra-formed to have slightly more interesting features(mountains, valleys etc).

The 'MCMMO' plugin, which, alongside Heroes would be awesome in an RPG server(MCMMO basically adds skills and abilities into the game, if you didn't know).

Maybe some sort of hostile mob-enhancement plugin.

I have seen the 'Werewolf' and 'Vampire' plugins on some successful RPG servers, and it really does make playing on the server slightly more dangerous.
