I don't know I just have haven't seen any recent conversations about what the "newest craze" is, as far as servers. I mean I guess hub, but 1, that is like every server now, and 2 I'm not counting that... like what general game is the most popular? What do people like playing the most? also not really minigames cause you might as well just call those a ton of different little games...

MINIGAMES
does no one read what I say? ;D i saiD no MiniGames OR huB SErVERs ;D lol just to make a minigames server, you need a prebuilt player base, so you would like need to have one type of server, then add on more minigames as you go :/ Basically im asking what the most popular, and best server type is for a newly created server...
Factions is a very standard type of server. Mostly what I see popping up now days are hub servers, like a mix between Minigame and towny / factions.
I mean why have one thing on that list ^ when you can have all of them in a hub server? XD
Custom servers are also coming out in bulk.. like mine for instance... ;)))))))))))))

Definitely custom gamemodes or minigames. I've seen a lot of them popping up. Next to factions.
I think minigame servers are overshadowing faction servers now days.

Mehh... idk i feel like its overdone, and if you actually want a really good factions server, you need something really unique, but like every server is unique, you cant really get a good one now :/
I think people strive WAY to hard to be unique I don't care how much is copied as long as it's fun to play. I think a stable economy and a healthy player base is all factions needs. Nowadays every is fighting like 3 year olds over how custom their server is versus someone elses
ya but like idk... most people dont look at it like that :/ most people want something differnet at this point, cause they have already done it all...
Im an old soul trust me I've done it all but good factions is good factions ya know
