I kinda like the new model, but I do think the old one should be available in programmer art.

i hate zombified piglins cause they killed zombie pigman
they're literally the same mob, just retextured & remodeled
I don't see why anyone hates the new model. They act the same(except for interactions with new mobs), and only have a couple differences from the old ones.
I am super excited about the new Minecraft update. There is a bunch of amazing things being added in-game and this one model is actually pretty alright. I know why they did it. It was so they can build up a continuity within the nether realm. This also can help attribute to people's own lores of the Minecraft world.
The new Zombie Piglin model is good, but I wish they didn't remove the Zombie Pigman.
They're the same. Just now they have ears and a nose. That's really the only difference.

i dont like them. and no my dislike for the new models is not driven by nostalgia because i had started playing recently

I absolutely hate the idea. Casting aside one of the most interesting mobs and ideas of minecraft, and just making it a variant of a new stupid pig mob is horrible. I want my zombie pigmen back NOW!!!!

It really makes no sense to have zombie pigmen and no pigmen. Pigmen were a thing waaay back when. But they were replaced by villagers, or "testificates" early on. This being said, zombie pigmen are really a relic, not quite fitting fully in to the game, but filling an important niche in the nether.
In that respect I think that the new zombified piglin fit perfectly. They fit within the lore of the game, being derived from the piglin, and they still fill that niche.
I'm well aware that a lot of people don't like them, however it's not really the zombie piglin they're opposed to, it's the fact that they're changing.
Much like how guardians and ocean monuments were argued against when they were first added, but were ultimately accepted because they fill an important role that no other mob can really do, especially not at that time.

How are piglins remotely stupid? They're better than plenty of other recent mobs.

I like the model but I kind of wish it had both ears by default. I don't like how there's just nothing on one side.
I don't have a preference on the textures, change is change and you gotta get used to it. However, they better have kept that Easter egg, or a version of it...

Nah there was an Easter egg in the skin. If you looked at the skin of the old pigman when outside of the game, you could see the name of the creator of the skin in the inside of the layer on the head.
However, when looking at the new skin it appears there are no layers to hide text in anymore...

I like the newer model more than I ever did the old one. I think you should make It more clear the yes Is for "I like it!" and no Is for "No I hate It"

I'm all for it, personally. I love the Piglins, and these new Zombified Piglins work well with them while keeping the aesthetic of the old model.
My only issue really is that "Zombified Piglin" is a bit of a mouthful. Surely they could've just gone with "Zombie Piglin?"

I fully agree. Sure the old model is nostalgic and all, but the new model looks a fair bit better than the old one.

Here is a picture that i found on google(because I was too lazy to take a screenshot.) together with the 2 new blocks. Well.. not really new, but ok..
not really a fan of changing the zombie pigmen, especially when they are meant to be less aggressive than the piglin, contrary to every other zombie version of an entity
Huh? The Zombified Piglin A.I. is exactly the same as the old pigman A.I., so that isn't really part of the update.
So.. I don't really have a preference, but I do like the new model more than the older one.. But at the same time I do hope that they put the older model in the programmer art resource pack.
