Shaders are good
In my opinion, realistic texture packs won't make much sense since there are no "realistic shaders" to accompany the realistic style. Meanwhile, using just shaders alone will at least give you realistic lighting.
tbh, realistic shader packs don't really fit minecraft if you're talking about the ones i'm thinking about

It's nice to explain to me how to do it but the problem is also I'm almost certain that my computer will not hold. In 1.17, I am struggling on servers with 7 to 14 fps. It is rare for me to play solo ...
Same issue but my fps drops don't go so low it maintains like a normal Minecraft so i don't face any issues until one day i tried shaders in my personal server when my Minecraft was going like a stop motion video... 😂😜
There's also Iris+Sodium if you need better performance with shaders

Better performance, at the cost of hard to configure shaders. (or at least in my experience)
Starline is a fork that has an experimental config menu it is planned to eventually have this in the main branch, but not sure how long that will take
That's what I'm looking for! I searched a YouTube video about configuring Iris shaders, and it's kind of odd that they have a configurator for Iris shaders in the video, but mine doesn't. It turns out it's a separate mod.
