Today, Minecraft: Pocket Edition currently has the title of number one paid app on the American appstore.

I found that interesting.

I hate Angry Birds. I really do. Each level is the same spiel, and they take very little skill to beat.

Most of what's surrounding is the effervescent fog of hype. There's no reason for it to be popular, other than the developers telling people so should be.

Is that a reason?
