that would kill the player (assuming survival mode and freshly spawned) and you would need to kill the dragon too

the fastest thing I can think of is (and forgive me if the block names are wrong; I haven't played MC in a few months):
/give @a end_portal 9
/give @a eye_of_ender 9
Build the portal and go through

Not really, since building the portal and killing the dragon would take some time.
Off the top of my head:

1st command teleports player into the de-activated exit portal (assuming max endstone height is at or lower tthan y-5)
