So listing out the features of each, I want your opinions and comments on this.
Would you rather use plots?
Build abilities:
- Set time on your plot
- clean flat area every time
- worldedit (with limits)
- voxel sniper (with limits)
Security:
- Daily backups
- Rollbacks
- Cannot be griefed unless server is hacked or you let people have super powers on your plot
Or would you rather freebuild?
Build abilities:
- Set personal time with /ptime
- Organic or custom generated terrain. Feels more unique and more interesting to build on.
- Build as a collective with other people. Makes things more community based. More organic.
- /farplace (ability to place at a distance)
- some limited (and logged) worldedit abilities. Perhaps you unlock these as your build skill rank has gone up.
- voxel sniper (if it can be logged and you are of a high enough rank)
Security:
- Daily backups
- Rollbacks
- You can be griefed often, bu you can undo 100% of damages 98% of the time.
- Monitor and alert when players break much more blocks than they are breaking
- Monitor and alert when players start using TNT, Fire, or other destructive items
- Monitor and alert when hack clients are detected
- Require people to build at least one plot and have it be approved before they can move onto the freebuild area
Why do you like freebuild? Why do you like plots? Is there a third option you prefer?

i would do free build, give alot more creativity, more space, more cooperitivity (spelling on peak) and its more fun to play with on. all you need are good, mature and active admins
Maturity is all relative, I'm sure. But I am 26. lol
Aren't freebuilds and plots the same thing?
Nope. Freebuild is where there are no borders. You build anywhere.

freebuild for sure.
Free build is most definitely better as it allows for more creativity. I do however see the appeal of plots though. They would most definitely make more sense if, lets say, a city was the goal of the server.
Freebuild is definitely better. It's a shame that freebuild creative servers seem to be scarce.
