You're in creative, floating in the air, playing with the sprites. To your left looms a hill of epic proportions. You grin and float through the air, dropping down on the mountain's peak. You don't see much of anything, so you pause the game and swap your render distance to far..
In the distance, lies a pristine lake surrounded by small trees. In that lake, a squid swims. But this squid, whom we shall name Eidńa, is not content. No, this squid is anything but.
Sensing the beast's emotions, you leap off the mountaintop, feeling the wind brush past your hair. In a matter of seconds, you're beside the lake. It churns and bubbles happily, oblivious of it's sad denizen. You look around the surface, you plunge into the cool waters, you feel it brush your body with a sympathetic sigh, but you find no squid. You arise, dejected. Eidńa despawned. Or did she?
Peer into the sky, above the clouds.
Look.
There she is, flying majestically like an eagle. Piloting a blimp.

Has anyone ever had a similar experience? I haven't, but I can imagine what it's like.

Sadly, Jeb has stolen the magic abilities of our tentacled brethren. Not only can squids no longer fly, they suffocate on land.
