I did not ask for a headset

You can not use the headphone part and just plug in the mic. Its a great mic for $15!

OP, there IS a new blue mic which I've heard is quite good, and relatively cheap. It's called the Blue Nessie: it came out in june. It's a desktop stand USB mic, and costs around $99 US. Perhaps check that out; I've heard great reviews for it.

I searched around for an hour or so and found a decent mic, could I get your opinion about it?

I found a really cheap $15 one at office depot, I don't think it came with a filter, but you could probably find one somewhere.

I would just get a cheap one for 5 bucks at Walmart or something, and progress from there c:

0-$75 range will buy you a crappy headset with an attached mic.

Check out the Blue range. They're not cheap, but they're some of the cheapest good quality mics you're going to find. You're able to go into an Apple store and see if they're in stock, too. I've got a Blue Yeti Pro, it's wonderful. You also have to keep in mind your surroundings; if you want to get good quality without feedback you're going to need to learn how to soften the walls, and the size a room really should be if you want good quality recordings.

Also have a Blue Yeti, and I'm very satisfied. Get one, even if it means saving up a bit.

What if we say 100$ ?
It doesn't have to be with a filter since they cost like nothing beside.

The $20 Apple EarPods have a decent mic on them. They are also VERY comfortable earphones with great audio quality.

"Cheap".
How cheap do you think they can be? Because good mics + filters and equipment are anything BUT cheap.

I found a pretty good one for 60$ but that's on amazon.com so I can't get it.
So I guess around 0-75$
