Broken Minecraft :'(
Im on a computer that I dont use that much. I use Minecraft 1.0.0 on my laptop, but my computer is stuck with 1.8.1... ive tried force update, it still wont work!

Delete the /bin folder, load minecraft, log in, then try to force update again.
yeah take out the saves folder if you wanna keep worlds
well its the only solution.
take everything you want out of it and start a new

Have u tried to reinstall minecraft? Delete .minecraft?
