Question about mods and maps
Custom maps can generate mod items, for example I have a medieval weapons mod and I'm on a medieval map, will it generate items from this mod?

My guess would be a qualified yes as the mod changes the generation of 'stuff' (including terrain and items by the game code) whereas the map imports premade 'stuff'.
Some of the qualifications inlcude that:
► since the map is pregenerated terrain, nothing that is added by the mod when new terrain is generated would be expected
► if the mod generates an item only under circumstances not allowed by the map (i.e. as a drop from a biome specific mob where that biome is not included in the map)
► if the map is using command blocks to supress 'something'
Someone with greater modding amiliarity may be able to expand the list of exceptions….

Sorry for poor English but from what I understand the item cannot be generated in chests like a sword that needs a new miner that only comes from chests the item will not appear in chests right but if it drops from mobs it will come normally
