Hey guys, WTFshady. Well, I've been playing Minecraft these days, and well, it's becoming crazy. Whenever I pause the game, when I try to get back to it, it says "not responding" and I have to close it and relaunch it. I'm using Java 8, Minecraft version 1.7.10, no mods.

2GB are enough. MC never uses more than that.

Downgrade to java 7

Don't do that, Java 8 makes minecraft faster, and I know this isn't a Java 8 bug, its just his computer getting weaker.

I highly believe that problem is caused by java 8.

And computers don't get "weaker".

This used to happen to me ALL the time! Try scanning for viruses, and if you have none, try deleting unused files,if that doesnt work, you could do what I did. I fixed this by going to best buy and getting the performance tune-up

I don't have any viruses, I scan everyday for viruses and I have none (or at least that's what Malwarebytes says). Also, there's no Best Buy here, so yeah...

WTFshadyI have allocated 2 gigs of RAM to Minecraft. I'm not using a texture pack. My laptop specs are below:

Intel Core i5 2410M @ 2.30GHz
8 GB DDR3-1333 RAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000 1.5GB VRAM.

My latptop is set on High Performance.

Could be a bug with the newest Java. (Might not be though)

I've heard bad words about the newest Java TBH.

How much RAM have you allocated? Are you using a resource pack?

^this, and we also probably need some specs about your pc, to see if it isn't a hardware problem like an outdated processor, graphics card, etc, I personally wouldn't know if they are, but there's probs some people who're gonna ask for it anyway.
