[NEED HELP] How does server hosting work?

Hey, I need help with this. A friend of mine says you can host a 24/7 Minecraft server with Google Drive somehow. Is this true?

Use hosthorde, only $5 a month per gigabyte. Never has crashed on me

Buy a server from a hosting company. I use fragnet, but there are loads out there. They are super cheap too. only £10 per month for 1 gig. not gonna complain xD

I don't think it's possible, i would recommend just buying a server from a host.
