Hosted server 1.8 Help
Hi i have a server that is hosted by a website and im trying to get it to 1.8 im not sure how to do that so im asking if anyone could help me with this

Don't recommend using a snapshot build, lots of vulnerabilities compared to bukkit or spigot with plugins.

Some control panels will have something like this:
Other hosts will let you upload your own server jars.
If you see something like the first one, just open the combobox and choose a 1.8 snapshot. If you don't see one, then you can't use it.
Otherwise, just download the snapshot server from mojang.com and add it to the root server folder. There's probably a default name for them to use, maybe server.jar? idk
