Hello Guys.
So i just wanted to ask you , do you guys know why i cant go higher than 60 fps ?
i tried everything, ( i think ) , i put all the options to Low , and it still stucks a 60 fps.
Here is my normal settings , i get about 60 - 100 fps before with these settings .

I assume your monitor is 60Hz - hence the 60fps framelock.

Just so people are aware - there's no need to brag about 'I got 10536432fps once my PC is better than yours'. Your monitor most likely is 60Hz, maybe 120Hz, so your ridiculously high fps doesn't make any difference.[/quote]
^ Thanks Charz.

Not trying to brag, but I tried getting the highest possible FPS, and I managed to get it to 1100 FPS, on a flat map staring at the sky. Lowest render distance.

Anywany, on topic. 60 FPS is basically that point that you don't notice any difference.

Anyone can do that, the only thing your PC is rendering is the sky, so it doesn't have to handle the thousands of blocks. Especially with a low render distance, though you'd get a similar result on far.

@op, Turn off VSync, as it locks your FPS to the speed of your monitor (60ghz)

How was that at all relevant? That isn't what the OP asked in any way, there was no need to say that. Did you read his problem?

VSync locks FPS At the FPS your monitor can display. In your case it is 60fps. just turn VSync off
