I can't play 1.9
I wanted to play the new 1.9 minecraft update but when when I hit play nothing happened. I tured off my computer and turned it on again but it still won't load. I swich my version to 1.8.9 and it loaded. I don't know why 1.9 won't load. Plz help!

Open launcher and run 1.9. This will make the launcher re download the entire .jar again.

Looks like lots of people are having this problem, no idea why though since I don't have it myself :/
I have been playing 1.9 but today when i click on it it just loads 1.8.9

Check the game output and does it say Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main
When you select 1.9 to play, it will automatically download, and it won't open Minecraft until it is fully downloaded. Your problem might be that it didn't download completely. Just select 1.9 to play again, and leave it for a few minutes.
I don't know, how do you do that?
