Minecraft Map help!

Hey guys!
I am making a map, and I am not really sure how it is going to work.
What I want to happen, is to teleport two players to one location, (Team one base) and the other two players to another location (Team two base)
Then I want their spawnpoints to be instantly set in their base.
But since there are two players constantly moving around, the way I have it working now could just set the same players spawnpoint twice, meaning that the other player wouldn't have their spawnpoint set. Also, since the other team is right next door, it might set their spawnpoint!
I was trying to figure out something with scoreboards but it just wasn't working.
The answer is probably going to be very obvious, but I just can't think of a way.

Why not set a main spawn and have 2 different buttons lead to the two bases? Then, they can each set their spawn point from a button from inside the base.
I'm not exactly sure if this is what you mean, but how about joining the two players to a team, then giving the players in the team their spawnpoints, and vice versa for the other team?
