What do you want to be when you grow up?
Hey Minecrafters!
I have been asking my friends this question; "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
I find it interesting seeing what others want to be when they grow up, So Why not ask fellow Minecraft players like me? So here I am asking you what you want to be when you grow up. Lastly, if you have already grown up, then feel free to say what you wanted to be when you were younger!
What I want to be:
I would like to be 2 things, I'd like to join the military like my father and become a Navy Seal or a Army Ranger; Both are really hard to get into.
If not I would like to become a Architect and design buildings for people and possibly make a company with my cousin and best friend.
Once I get older (Like 55-60's) I would like to study Polar Bears for the rest of my life.
Yup, some pretty big dreams right here.
Have fun posting!

I wanna work at mojang.
When that fails, I wanna be a game programmer working for any major gaming company.

Id like to design video games for a living, and that is what im persuing, but I have always wanted to be something like an architect, and a youtuber, but that will never happen. Because although I am creative, a building I would create would probably collapse, as for youtube I will never get enough subscribers to make a living off it. But anyways, I am a very smart guy capable of pursuing any job that has math in it.
Train driver!
I wanna be an author of sci-fi novels. or maybe programmer. or that someone who makes the tech of tomorrow. Oh, and when I was a kid, I wanted to be a elephant. no, really.
I like this thread, it's giving me good ideas.
Why does no one pick being an accountant. Tis' a noble sport; we sits on our butts all day doing nothing. After all, sitting is the sport of kings!

I'd love to be a graphic designer. Or even do visual stuff for game companies. Well, actually... I'd really love to do story/character design for Bethesda on any of their upcoming Elder Scrolls games... (I'm an Elder Scrolls freak, I know so much about it and just love it) and if not Bethesda, maybe Valve or Frictional Games.
And if that fails, then I will probably just be a poor artist who ends up doing something I never wanted to do because I ended up getting a degree in art... hm.

Probably a writer of some sort. I get good responses for my stories.
Also, you're going to study polar bears in your 55-60's? Very likely that they won't be there for you to study.

My main goal is just to not be homeless and to be happy. Wherever life takes me, I suppose. I'd like to be a vet, but I can't seem to get my allergies under control to do so.
pokemon master
I would like to be an architect.
I think I'll be Morgan Freeman when I get older.
Nah, but seriously, I'm gonna be a computer programmer.

I'm quite not sure. A computer scientist? A lawyer? I don't know something between that.
A Cereal killer (intended)
I want to be something life changing when I grow up. Like I want to make a new world order but not in a bad way, in a good way.
Id Like to buy uTorrent and ThePirateBay
Once you do, you will be sued indefinitely!
That doesn't seem like the safest business plan.
I am currently in school to become an Archaeologist, which I can confirm IS the coolest job in the entire world.
Like this?
They aren't very good.. they smashed the skull..
That's probably a joke. It doesn't look like they'd be using pickaxes on that specific dig if it was real.
Pssshhh... what you talking about? That was simple a love tap.
Snowpark Designer.
I would love to be a medical scientist specialising in disease.
I want to draw for money.
Definitely a harem king. :I
More seriously, I've nothing solid set for my future. I enjoy a large field of careers and would quite willingly dedicate time to learning to partake in a profession properly. Above all, I'd like to have a family. By family, I don't necessarily mean a wife and children (although that would be ideal), but more or less people to protect and care for. So long as I have something meaningful in my life that is worth living for, I don't really care what happens to myself, even if I have to become a sacrifice to save the lives of others (real deep, I know).
So yeah. If life were to revolve entirely around the profession one chooses, I'd likely settle on being a theoretical physicist, software designer, neurosurgeon, or something else of that sort. They are all fields that have very far to go that can do great things for this Earth if advanced properly.

I would like to be a computer security specialist, specifically an ethical hacker. If that fails, then I would love to go into game design.
Police Detective, Programmer, Software Engineer, Chef owning my own Restaurant, Artist, Vet, Mechanic, Race Car Driver or a Zoo Keeper
airforce and if that doesnt work out then a video game designer
I would like to own my own technology company. Large dreams, probably will never happen. If not, I want to be a help desk employee for Microsoft, Apple, or Cisco.
I want to be famous and make my own game all by myself like Phil Fish! I don't know anything about programming but maybe I'll learn it someday.
I've also thought of joining the Marines but when I watched Full Metal Jacket, I don't think I'll make it.
I still don't know what job to get. It's hard to choose. What if I kill my patient if I become a doctor or what if crash the plane if I become a Pilot.

exactly. it's a sad sad reality we must deal with when we become that age.
and not only do architects not make money, companies don't employ them. so you'll probably be unemployed coming out of college.
so a pro tip to anyone who cares: don't become an architect.

I want to be a coroner. Mainly because I find the human anatomy incredible, and it would make me feel great knowing that my work has put a families mind to rest about their deceased relative.
I am extremely interested in the videogame designing business. I know, you peeps are thinking: "WHAT!?!?! A GIRL IN THE GAMING BUSINESS?!" Deal wid it peeps. I am THIS close into buying g-mod and learning how to use it!
No one is surprised that you are female and like video games. This is a website for a game, every single person here likes video gaming.
Either Artist(I like drawing, but unfortunaly my drawing SUCKS.), Medic(Pays well, but I don't want to study 24/7...) or Inventor(Robots FTW, but like medic, requires a lot of studying...).
So, yeah, I'm pretty undecided for my future. So that's why I only care about my present, herp derp
