[Average Score 2/10] Short Exam for True Minecraft Pros - Ischool
WARNING: This exam is highly challenging. Test taker discretion is strongly advised.
With online classes in full swing, online exams are on the rise too. After being subject to much challenge by all those exams, I decided to make one too. Let's see how good everyone is!
Good luck!

If that was a bit too tiring and stressful, how about checking out one of our build team's newest builds, complete with a story?

2/10.
I'll take it. I got the average. That's enough for me. ...now if only I'd played with commands since 1.8.9 and were more aware of new features. Ahaha. This is like not only not revising for the test, but also showing up to none of the lessons leading up to it. o: Nice test, anyhow.

Not bad! The analogy of not studying and not attending any classes really nails it too! Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Thank you! And you're welcome for me trying and liking it. The analogy was probably a little too close to personal experience though, except with the minor difference of how in the real world I actually pulled that off for the subjects I cared for. Didn't quite go so well here. xD
5/10 here. Would have been 6, but I made the rookie error of mistaking dried kelp block for the kelp plant lol
That's quite well done! Keep it up!
And yes, carelessness is the bane of every student (including myself back then)

what a terrible exam, using items and codes barely anybody knows... that's just no good
With the plethora of easy to moderate Minecraft quizzes out there, I decided to go for the ultra-challenging route to give a more different experience
no, you decided to go for stuff only mojang staff or some super obsessed one would know, a quiz or exam may be tough, but it also has to be fair
Well, it's okay if it's not your cup of tea. We all have our preferences for difficulty :)
Got 5/10
You're the highest (who submitted a username) so far! Congratulations!
I just discovered I can redo the exam with all the right answers in mind, lol. Anyway somethings were incorrect about the exam; The Id of dark prismarine is #0168/2 & the other thing is that dragon head is the only block that breaks when a piston pushes it, all the other blocks either don't get pushed, or break when pushed. Lastly the debug stick one is a bit incorrect depending on the version. On the 1.15 version it will only make the campfire wet, but wont burn out the fire within it.
Unfortunately there's no way to prevent the redoing of exams without requiring people to submit their email, which I think would dissuade a lot of people.
Thanks a lot for the detailed comments! Here are some of my responses (for the others, let's not ruin the fun by spoiling yourselves):

Please not open unless you've done the quiz
Yeah that is the ID, given the format, the way to input it in the quiz would have been 168:2.
Also, I'll clarify the wording on the piston question. Thank you for that one!
As for the debug stick one, 'lit' and 'waterlogged' are not mutually exclusive; if none of the choices match the correct one, then the correct answer is 'none of the above' ;)

I got 3 :o
That's 50% higher than average! :o
Statistics as of now:
Average: 1.88/10
Highest: 4/10
So I'd put passing grade as 2/10 for now :P

I failed :(
It's okay, I'm planning to release more of these in the future; you can try and pull your grade up :D
(dang I'm starting to sound like those teachers and professors)

Am I allowed to google the answer for the next exam teacher Gian? :')
To cheat in the exam is to cheat yourself of the opportunity to test your mettle...
But then again googling skills are an essential skill nowadays...

Probably because this information is extra and doesnt make you a "pro", as the word is subjective.
You could be a pro at building, at the same level as Grian and you can still get 0/10.

Quite true, quite true, we're all pros at different things; this tests the 'pro-ness' of extensive Minecraft knowledge, and was designed to be as reasonably and surprisingly challenging as possible :)
