I'll choose the island of Santorini, near Greece. On it is the ancient city of Thera, which almost certainly inspired the legend of Atlantis. The broken ring-shaped island is actually the rim of a supervolcano, which buried the city when it erupted around 1450 B.C. The story would have been passed down for 1100 years until it reached the ears of Plato, who included the now greatly exaggerated account in his dialogue Timaeus, which started the legend we have today. History is so flipping cool.

I'm not a big traveler, but am a big Pokemon Go player, so every time I've been asked this or where I would move to if I had to go overseas, I always pick Japan or Singapore because those places are filled with Pokestops and some of the best players in the world.

I know lots about Finland since my ancestors came from there and it is pretty awesome.
