You have got to be kidding me. If it weren't for Notch this game you are playing, this website you are on wouldn't even exist. You at LEAST have to acknowledge the fact that even though Jeb is implementing good ideas to improve Minecraft, Notch came up with the amazing idea of Minecraft itself.
You do know, that minecraft was COMPLETELY MADE BY NOTCH until Release 1.0. Jeb pretty much just added Ocelots, Iron Golems, a little better AI, and some more colorful blocks that you can't stack.
Look at the 1.3 pre releases and then edit your post, please. lol.

Also, it's not like he gave us the game for free. I seriously don't understand why you guys feel the need to 'celebrate notch'. I'm sure if he didn't come up with the idea of MC, someone else would. Don't forget you paid the guy for this game, for me that would be thanks enough. Also, IMO, it's the mod makers, plugin developers and community (not here) that make the game what it is, for non profit. All of which have nothing to do with the guy.

Don't give me that rubbish, Notch has NOTHING to do with this website. If you are going to give me the argument that Notch started everything... The idea wasn't exactly original when he started it. In fact without a lot of code and premade libraries that SOMEBODY didn't create, Notch wouldn't even have a place to start. I'm just trying to say, that without people that are usually un-named and forgotten about, this game would suck. Okay, Notch did create what we now used to call MC, but a lot of hard work has gone into this game from people who don't and won't get any credit, that makes the game we NOW call MC.
