Video card for under £50-£70?
Hi all,
I'm currently working on a system build for a new low range gaming computer (A massive upgrade from my 2010 macbook shite), but i'm stuck on what video card to get. I would like to be able to run games like Minecraft at a solid 60+ fps, and be able to run Unreal Engine 4.4 without crashing/freezing :3
My current build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/jG2jvK
My BUILD budget: Approximately £400 - 425
If possible, could the card be from Amazon, however if this is not possible or I will notice bad performance, then obviously I will have to use other companies, and if you have any other suggestions, it would be much appreciated!
I am currently staying away from AMD, purely because of inexperience, but i'd be happy to try!
Thanks,
Joe.

Format thing, because it said to use this
What is this computer going to be used for?
"low range gaming computer" "I would like to be able to run games like Minecraft at a solid 60+ fps, and be able to run Unreal Engine 4.4 without crashing/freezing :3"
What is your budget?
For the graphics card: £50-70
For the whole built: £400-£425
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter?
I live in the UK, and there are no stores near by me that I could pick up parts from, so I will require that there is a delivery on the product.
What is included in the budget?
Graphics card
Will you be overclocking?
Most likely, depending on the performance
Will you be reusing any parts?
Only a slow samsung 250GB HDD
What OS do you want?
Already have a copy of Windows 7

I'm not an expert in hardware, but maybe you should consider an APU?
Why?
Wow thanks for that :O
The case just looked cool and is huge, but i'm not fussed, as long as it has a lot of space, and I am going to be using Windows 7 (Already have a copy of professional)
Will that motherboard support lots of upgrades for future, such as big graphics cards (Like a GTX 790) and room for water cooling, or will I have to upgrade in the future?
Once again, thanks so much for this, it is greatly apreaciated.
EDIT: Is this worth considering? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Graphics- ... echnology/ - This comparison may be worth looking into http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4 ... re-i5-4440

I see, lol, so you just want a good case pretty much?
And yes, any motherboard with PCIe x16 will support any videocard, lol.
The 4440 is really not much slower, and wouldn't be worth the extra cost. The 4440 is really powerful, that build will easily do 45 fps on bf4 maxed out.

Ah ok, great. Any suggestions for a case then? If you could knock down the price even more it would be amazing <3

This is a bit cheaper, and has the same performance, but more storage, better psu, and touch ups on other part choices.
Do you really want that case? Or could I help you pick a better case?
Also, what OS are you gonna use?
