So I'm currently in the middle of creating a new set-up and was wondering if 8GB of RAM matches or is suitable for the rest of the build and if not how much RAM should I start off with or have:
*I should mention I am aiming to play games like GTA V to the best these specs can provide.

@SloPro11 Hi big thanks for all this first of all However Im wondering, I already have the graphics card so would I still be able to use the rest of the other stuff you have listed or will it be incompatible?
Of course, but you can still buy a better CPU since you have that GPU. I've done some research and that amd cpu isn't that bad so you can take it if you want, so now the only thing you must change is the storage, as I said 1 tb (or 2tb if it's not enough) + a 128gb ssd or a bit bigger if you want
I have the same GPU and I can play GTA 5 on very high @ 60fps in city and 45-60fps in countrysite

Ah ok then so I dont need to worry about any of the other stuff, just switch out the storage then?
- You don't buy a 1tb ssd, get a 1tb hdd and a 128gb ssd instead, you save up enough to buy a better gpu
- You don't buy mid-range cpus from AMD
- You don't need 600w for gtx 960
For your question: 8gb of ram will be enough unless you're doing some hardcore editing or having 100 chrome tabs open. You can buy 1x8gb instead of 2x4gb so you can upgrade later if really needed
If you aren't overclocking, you could get this, it will give you a much better gaming performance
