I Need Your Opinion!
Some of you who know me may know that I have one of the worst computers in the world. I just got a summer job and am making lots of money...sort of. Anyways, I wish to buy a gaming computer, or a computer that has great enough specs to play high-resource games and be able to record them with Fraps or DXStory. I was looking at different computers and one caught my eye. It's reasonably cheap and has some decent specs.
The Maingear Vybe
I want your opinion on whether I should buy it. Include arguments like quality, specs, desing, etc. Also tell me which computer you would recommend. I'm hoping for something under $1500. Also I don't want any Apple products, they are good for music and have great specs, but there aren't enough programs usable that I could use the specs for. So please help me get the computer I want. I'm willing to pay, as long as the computer is decent. Also, I forgot to mention that I want a desktop more than anything. If you can find a laptop that is better than any other desktop then I'd be happy to look at it.

i3 3220 $129.99
ASUS P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 $59.99
Corsair XMS3 8GB $68.99
Corsair CX 430W $44.99
Optical Drive $16.99
MSI GTX 650 $109.99
No clue on the case, inside doesn't seem to be painted so let's assume it's something cheap. Front panel has 2 USB 3.0 ports and audio inputs.
Xigmatek ASGARD 381 $39.99
For a grand total of $470.93. Guess you were right about it not being $450.
Would you like to try again?

Never ever buy an Alienware. It's a waste of money considering they're just rebranded Dell parts with a nice case.
This is very true.
About apple products, just bootcamp it with Windows7. You get apple products with the ability to run Windows only programs.

HOW? I know this is off topic but where do I get those banners? that appear and how would I get them to appear

You people...
Digital Storm... "FOR GAMERS WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK" by offering an $450, an entry level PC for the low, low, price of $700.
Or, the Digital Storm VIRTUE... A $650 PC marked at $1,500, with a i5 4570 and a Z87 MOTHERBOARD.
@OP, There are plenty of guides, videos, and tutorials about doing so.
Newegg has a 3 part tutorial about it, as well as many others.

If you aren't comfortable with building your own and would rather spend extra to get something pre-built, go for it. Just please don't buy an Alienware and keep in mind that desktops are cheaper and have more power than any "gaming laptop".
This is what I've been preaching to people for a long time (the Alienware part). How would I get into building my own computer?

If I were you I wouldn't waste money on something you could build cheaper. Computers aren't that hard to build and might be a fun learning experience. You will also have more pride in your PC.

Okay so how much would you estimate building a PC would be? I do agree that building a PC could be an amazing experience, but if I am going to make something I want it done well with the best stuff it can be. This could get a tad bit expensive.
