Found $50. What Should I Buy?
Hi guys,
Yesterday I found my old wallet. I wasn't expecting anything to be in it, but I was very wrong. Inside it, I found $50 and a pretty rare, uncirculated coin. I also found a processor from a 1995-era computer... I don't know why that was in there, but it was.
Anyway, I have $50 now. I'm trying to decide what I should get with it. Since $50 isn't enough to really get any new PC hardware, I'm trying to decide between a few things to get.
Primarily, I was thinking of getting a gamepad. Probably a third-party, $15 PC controller. (This)
With that, I'll have $35 left. That gives me a choice of a few games on Steam.
The games I'm stuck deciding between are:
Counter Strike Source
Counter Strike GA
Call of Duty World at War
Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Basically I'm looking for a First Person Shooter for under $35.
However, I could also probably use a better headset. Currently, I have a Skullcandy Hesh 2.0. It's a semi-big-name brand, and it's marketed at $60, so I would assume it's a pretty bad pair of headphones. I wouldn't know the difference between good and bad headphones, because the max I've ever spent on them was $20. The only real reason I got them over anything else was that they were on sale for $20.
I've heard good things about these headphones, but I'm not sure if they're worth the upgrade. My current headphones aren't very portable, and I take them to/from school, but they work fine.
I know $35 isn't a good price for headphones, but are the ones I listed better than my current ones, and if they are, are they worth the upgrade?
What would you suggest I do? If you can suggest any other FPS games that I should get, that'd be good too. However, I am not a huge fan of the Battlefield Series. It seems too serious for me. I prefer the stupid, but fast-paced and cartoon-y gameplay of Call of Duty over Battlefield.
Another thing I should mention is that I don't care about graphics. CS:S doesn't have the greatest graphics, but I'm considering it.

DONATE it
CoDs suck and if you can, buy Counter-Strike Global Offensive
You could get a CPU cooler and still have ~$20 left.
That is, if you are still using the stock cooler. I still use the stock cooler and it's probably the noisiest part of my computer.

Save it. If I found $50 in my wallet I wouldn't spend it, I'd wait until I had enough money for something I really wanted.
It's obvious that you don't really have anything worthwhile to spend $50 on if you're asking an online community what you should do with it.

I already have it, lol. But from my experience, I know why you're recommending it haha.
KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM.
Buy Minecraft. It can be a 3rd person bow sniper if you utilize 3rd person mode.
Borderlands 2
Why get a headset? You can get a pair of headphones + a mic for that price (that will be better). Wait for 57r4d to suggest you some.
I kinda meant headphones... I accidentally typed "headset" because I was typing faster than I was thinking. The wrong word kinda just popped into my fingers lol.
Ah ok. Well, you can get some good budget headphones for $35.
You should use it as seed money to start a small business.
EDIT: 222th post!
