Call Of Duty vs Battlefield
FIRST THINGS FIRST: this is a civilised discussion about two great shooter series. If you want a war, GET LOST!
NEW RULE! no mentioning other games. this is about TWO GAMES. not tf2, which stinks, or halo which just got worse over the years.
Okay, first of all, I am a cod fan. I have 4 cods and am too cheap to buy bo2
i have played like 30 hours of battlefield 3, but only at my best friends house.
however, I have been persuaded to buy battlefiled 4, so shut up about "you dont have it you cod loser!"
guide to cod and battlefield:
Call Of Duty is a Firefight sim.
Battlefield is a, well, battlefield sim.
call of duty is slightly less realistic, but heck, who cares? the carnage one man can cause with only a rifle is so much fun.
battlefield however is more destructible and has vehicles.

I wouldn't call battlefield a sim either. Closest to an infantry sim would be ArmA. Which has its own problems of course, like janky controls. Far bigger maps than battlefield though

In my honest opinion, Halo is worse than COD.
Call of Duty is not even a sim. It's basically 16 idiots shooting at each other in a 100x100ft^2 map. Battlefield brings so much more to the game.. Err, battlefield. One, vehicles. Why does CoD have vehicles sitting around in all their maps if you can't use them? It's useless. Two, attachments actually matter in Battlefield. Silencers ACTUALLY decrease range and damage. Grips ACTUALLY add more accuracy. And I can see some attachments do change the gameplay in CoD. But why have all the other ones if they're basically useless..? And finally number three; Why are the maps SO SMALL? I mean, some of the maps SHOULD be small considering it's a more fast paced game, but all of the maps are tiny.
Battlefield has problems too. One, map restrictions. Make something block me from leaving! Have a canyon or buildings surrounding me! Something please?! Two, OP vehicles! Some vehicles are just too over powered! All it takes for some vehicles is two or three determined and skilled players and they can run the game! For example, five people in a Huey, two people shooting, two repairing, and a pilot, could DOMINATE a team of eight or sixteen people!

Hahahah same here! Even though i said that, i buy all the cods everytime they come out and dlc, because im suspecting something better! But I never get that :c maybe one of these times :C
Battlefield, all the way.
Call of Duty is just repeating the same thing over and over, and not just the multiplayer. The campaign story is changing, but still seems like the same thing over and over throughout the different COD titles.
I can't wait until BF4. Looks amazing, but I won't make any monstrous assumptions.

Well all i can say is i really want Bf4 and i have been a call or duty fan since mw2

-It has HATS
-So balanced you could build a house of cards on it
-Little to no screaming kids
-It's own economy
-Awesome community
-Did I mention hats?
-Original art design
-TEAM based games
-No over powered weapons
-HATS
-Unique classes
-Free to play
-All weapons are diverse
-The game can be very funny
-Not all about racking up kills
