Alright, so im thinking of building a new system since the one im using right now is an old dell xps 15 laptop. I've looked at some parts and this is what i came up with. The system goes for about 10800 swedish crowns = 1635$ (im from sweden so i thought it was important to note that)

I want to be able to run the newest games (bf4, titanfall etc.) at a smooth fps rate (let's say 60-90 fps). Is the system priceworthy enough and will it be able to deliver what i want out of it? The prices on components in sweden is a lot more expensive compared to america due to the fact that we don't produce them here ourselves, it gets shipped to us from overseas instead.

Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING

Video card: MSI GeForce GTX770 2GB TF OC

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K

Power Supply: CoolerMaster B-Series 700 W

Case: CoolerMaster CMstorm Trooper

CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo

RAM: Crucial BallistixSport 16GB 1600MHz

DVD DRIVE: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE SATA

SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB

OS: Windows 8.1

Hard drive: Seagate Desktop HDD 2TB 7200RPM

These have WIn7, but if you want, you can switch to WIn8/8.1

Let me comment the OS... Windows 8 is somthing i (personaly) am not remoending... i prefer 7.
Anyway else this is a nice build. Why not going with amd?

No one is going to listen to someone, who types like a 4 year old. But you're only thing against it, is that you don't like it?

fillpant
on my pc support website 19 help requests where about seting up minecrfat/ servers / java /incompatibilities on win 8 but ok if you say so...

Dude, you can't type at all... And that has nothing to do with an OS? setting up servers has to do with the operator(you), not the operating system.....

And like 57r4d said, the i5-4670k will get better performance in-game over the fx-8350. (53% faster in single-threaded applications, which is what most games are on, and the ones that do use more than 1 thread, the fx-8350 only gets a 2% increase, so that's what, 2-5 FPS?)

and yes AMD is for budget builds but i belive in this case where a i5 is used, then a amd fx8350 is better and if not the same, cheaper... why not?

The 8350 will only be slightly better in games and applications that use 8 cores, which there aren't many of. The 4670k outperforms in gaming and also runs cooler.

Change the PSU to a more reliable one from Corsair, XFX, EVGA or Seasonic. A 600 watt 80+ bronze will be fine. Drop down to 8gbs of ram, 16 isn't needed for gaming. Either drop the SSD or get another one like the M500 or 840 Evo. Kingston changed the NAND switches and the drive isn't as good as it was before.

Windows 8 is absolutely fine. AMD is meant more for budget builds.
