Yea basically same every thing but the CPU
So, you played the exact games on the same settings? You ran the same tests of the same section of each game? You have the equal RAM, HDDs, etc? Everything other than CPU and mobo is consistent an of the same quality so there are no other variables affecting performance? I trust properly performed benchamarks better than your little story. There is no way that a stock 8320 beats the i5.
Colbalt take a look:
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/di ... html#sect0 i5-4570 wins in every game but looses in programs that can use >4 cores. Just like i said earlier. Also, that video isn't that reliable. There have been many complaints about the reliability and methods used in the test. Once you look at other, more reliable benchmarks, you will see a different picture.

STORY TIME: My friends and I all built a gaming rig at the same time. Same GPU as well cause it was on sale and huge bang for your buck (black friday). SO I saved some cash and went with a FX-6300, My neighbor went with a FX-8320 and my friend went with a i5 4670k. To get to the point in almost all games my neighbor's rig wins (the guy with the 8320).

i5 is still much better for gaming. Beats the 8350 in everything that uses <5 cores and even then still does decent. Killer that is a bad mobo, especially since you can get a much better 970 chipset one for a similar price.
I didn't even notice it doesn't support SLI, lol, brb den.
And the 8350 will run about the same in games which use 4 cores, but games like Planetside 2, won't run the bestest on it. It's still playable, but the 4670k will beat it lol

Just need to update the mobo BIOS.
Couldn't find any others that support SLI and Crossfire, so oh well. (Unless I went into the 90+ mobo's.)

Randomness build, but with a 8350, faster than a 8320 :b (And faster than a 4670k in multi-threaded programs, but A LOT slower in single core programs :b)
