This is for those who are too lazy to go looking for themselfs. Recently i have seen alot of people asking about recording software and these are the ones i thought are the best.

So in no particular order (mostly your preference) here are a few

-Fraps: Fraps is a very easy and simple to use recording software. Thought the file sizes are very high the quality of the video is top notch and shouldn't be much of a problem if you have a semi-large hard drive and are planning to edit and render your videos. Fraps is $37 dollars and is worth the buy in my opinion.

-Open Broadcasting Software (OBS): OBS is a free recording software that is relatively easy to use if you are willing to look up tutorials on how to set it up. You should have a higher end PC if you want to get very nice quality out of this but if you don't have such great PC i recommend Fraps. The OBS file size for your recordings is super small compared to the Fraps filesize. One last perk of OBS is that it is not only a recording software but a live streaming software as well.

-Dxtory: Dxtory is the final recording software i recommend getting. This one is also for those with pretty good computers but also a large hard drive as well. Dxtory is a paid recording program worth $46 but is very versatile at whatever you want it to do. My experience with it is limited but you can find comparisons on youtube very easily. One of the main features of Dxtory compared to the other two is the personalization that you can set up so that each game can have its own unique settings.

-Camtasia Studio: Camtasia is a recording/editing software that costs a pretty penny at $300. But with other editing software such as Sony Vegas at $600, Camtasia is definitely is the better alternative if you are looking to make simple and fun videos in a software that is extremely easy to navigate. The main benefits of Camtasia are the Screen capture option, which can be edited right after recording in the editor then can be uploaded to youtube all in one program.

Though all of these are really good recording software it is really up to preference and your computer specs on which one you should get. If you have any other software that you feel i have missed please tell me and i will add it. If i have made a mistake in any of this as well tell me and i will fix it.

Camtasia is also worth having a look at;

Its very expensive (over £100) but you'll definatley be able to squeeze every penny out of it.

You record with it, edit with it, upload directly from it, you can record webcam with it, you can record skype call easily, you can narrate over videos easily, and that isn't even the tip of the iceberg, there is soooo much. It's the best i've ever used, and I wouldn't think twice if i needed to buy it again.
