I have a 16 frame 256x256 texture that displays as pink and black when the resource pack is zipped, but fine when it is unzipped.
Anyone know any workaround? It is a file size (330KB) limit?

What block is showing the error? I have a 316kb animated image which works fine.
UPDATE: I did have a play with it. I think it's something to do with the variants
Was the error for each one. I can only assume it's a variant issue when zipping.
I'm not sure of a work around it would seem you either get 1 animated glowstone or 2 non animated ones.
If you find a work around do tell us xD.

Common question, did you patch minecraft with HD patcher or optifine?
Are you on modded 1.8 because you might be using a glitchy forge and coincidentally you played modded with it zipped and unmodded with it unzipped try playing modless and forgeless minecraft no kinds of modloaders at all k
It's Vanilla. I never play modded or even have Forge installed.
Hmm apparently my assumption was incorrect... smaller textures have the same problem... anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
