Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time.

I've been working on a texture pack and would like to alter the shape of some (not all) of the paintings, to be more specific I am trying to turn them into rectangles rather than squares. I've edited the front, but the sides of those paintings are still showing as squares.

I've read about the option to remove the wooden square texture in the painting file to get rid of all sides and backs all together, but I'm wondering if there is a better way to have custom shaped paintings without losing the side and back textures.

Any ideas?
